You can buy a FASTag by any of the following ways:

1. Online - Buy it online and have it delivered to your home. Simply go to https://fastag.axisbank.co.in, to initiate your application. Alternatively, you could walk in to your nearest Axis Bank Branch and buy a FASTag (payment towards your tag must be made online).
2. Toll plaza - While travelling through any toll plaza, one can buy a FASTag from the toll booth. Just remember to carry the registration copy and KYC documents.

FASTag is currently not issued for two-wheelers.

In case you are selling your car, please remove (destroy) the FASTag issued to it and close its linked wallet. On purchase of second-hand cars (bearing a FASTag) too, you will need to remove its existing tag and issue a fresh FASTag under your name.

For assistance with closure of FASTag services, you can reach out to us at etc.management@axisbank.com along with a copy of your cancelled cheque from your registered email ID.

You need to submit the following documents:

1. Registration Certificate (RC) of the vehicle
2. FASTag Application form/ KYC document (PAN Card or Driving Licence or Voter ID or Passport or MGNREGA Job card

No, there is no cashback offered currently.

No, you will need separate FASTags for both vehicles. However, you can have 1 wallet linked to both tags.

You will receive an SMS with requisite details on your registered mobile number as soon as a toll transaction takes place. Periodic statement of account can be obtained from the online portal - https://fastag.axisbank.co.in/.

FASTag can be used in all lanes of the toll plaza.

You can report an incorrect deduction on our customer care helpline no. 18004198585. We will review your request and if found correct, we will reverse the incorrect deduction.

You can raise a request regarding the same by calling 1033, the helpline number of NHAI. Alternatively, the customer can also contact our toll-free number 18004198585.

Yes, you can avail the monthly pass and the facility is specific to each toll plaza. This can be availed through the toll plaza or the NHAI website.

You can recharge your FASTag account through any of the following modes:

1. Online Customer Portal for FASTag

a. Please login to https://fastag.axisbank.co.in
b. Login using your vehicle registration number, registered mobile number, Wallet Id followed by OTP.
c. Recharge with the help of various available options.

2. NEFT/IMPS

a. Log in to Internet Banking / Axis Mobile App
b. Under Fund transfer, go to ‘Add payee’ and select ‘other Bank payee’
c. Enter either Wallet ID or vehicle registration number as account number and ‘UTIB0000ETC’ as IFSC.


3. Auto-load Proceed with payment once payee added.

   Enable it in your customer portal for auto load facility whenever your wallet balances go below threshold.

4. Recharge through UPI

Use any UPI enabled PSP application and use handle netc. <registered mobile number>@axisbank or netc. <vehicle registration number>@axisbank

5. 5. Recharge through BBPS

a. Log in / Connect at any bank/non-bank application (e.g. website-net banking/app/wallet) with Bharat Billpay facility. b. Navigate to FASTag recharge and select Axis Bank FASTag.

You will need to call our customer care no. 18004198585 to block your FASTag, and re-issue a new tag. Once you take a new TAG, we will transfer the balance to the existing wallet account.

You can purchase a FASTag to avail the concessions. Once you purchase the FASTag, you will need to submit the required documents (proof of residence) at the Acquiring Bank POS location to validate your residence within 10 km of a particular plaza. Once it is verified, you may avail the concession on the FASTag assigned to your vehicle.

In case of such a scenario, a complaint is to be lodged with respective Project Directors at the toll plaza. Further, the incident may be reported to us via our email at etc.nodal@ihmcl.com.

In case the ETC equipment is not working and your FASTag account is having enough balance, please pay the toll fee in cash at the plaza and keep the cash receipt with you in case it is required. Additionally, should you have any queries, you may call our dedicated call centre no. 18004198585.

Vehicles are categorised for the welfare of road users. This categorisation is primarily based on the size and load they carry, damage done to the road and type of use (commercial / personal) of a vehicle.

FASTag is presently operational at 520+ toll plazas across National Highways. For the updated list of toll plazas currently integrated with FASTag, visit the NHAI website (List of toll plazas).

At the time of buying FASTag, your FASTag wallet will be created. You only need to log in using VRN, Registered Mobile Number or Wallet ID followed by OTP.

The tag has a validity of 5 years.
