Fuel surcharge refund on spends at all fuel stations across India with a Privilege Credit Card from Axis Bank.

  • Valid on transactions between Rs. 400 and Rs. 4,000 only
  • Service tax charged on fuel surcharge is non-refundable. No reward points are earned on fuel transactions
  • Maximum benefits upto Rs 400 per statement cycle
  • The fuel surcharge is not levied by the card issuing bank, on certain fuel transactions, the fuel surcharge may be levied as INR 10 + GST instead of 1% + GST.

Axis EDGE REWARD points for transactions and 500+ rewards and offers to redeem points. Earn points for these transactions:

  • 10 points on every Rs. 200 spent on the credit card. domestically/internationally
  • Spends done on Insurance, rent, fuel, educational services, utilities and government MCC(merchant category codes) will not be eligible for earning EDGE REWARDS.
  • EDGE REWARD Points will be debited for credit card transactions which are converted to EMI. On cancellation of the EMI transaction, points shall not be credited back for the original transaction.

In Privilege Credit Card fees, overdue penalty, fee on cash payment, etc. are applicable as per terms and conditions. However, fees and charges for Privilege Credit Card are waived for services like mobile alerts. The detailed fee structure is provided below.

GST, as notified by the Government of India, is applicable on all fees, interest & other charges, and is subject to change as per relevant regulations of the Government of India.


*A rent surcharge fee of 1% capped at INR 1,500 per transaction will be applicable on each rental transaction done on Axis Bank Credit Cards. GST will be applicable as notified by Government of India. The Rent transactions will be identified through Merchant Category Code 6513. The revision is effective from 05-03-2023.


**A Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) markup fee of 1% plus taxes will be applicable on Axis Bank Credit Cards for each International transaction performed in Indian currency at International location or transactions performed in Indian currency with merchants located in Indian but registered in foreign nation. DCC markup fee will not be applicable on Burgundy Private Credit Card. The revision is effective from 05-03-2023.
