FASTag has revolutionised toll payments across India, offering a seamless and efficient way to pay tolls electronically. With the increasing use of FASTag, it's essential to keep track of your toll transactions and effectively manage your finances. Do this easily via your FASTag history. Let us see how.
What is a FASTag statement?
A FASTag statement is a detailed record of all your toll transactions made using the FASTag. It provides a comprehensive history of your toll payments, including the date, time, and amount deducted for each trip. By regularly reviewing your FASTag statement, you can ensure that all transactions are accurate.
Importance of tracking FASTag transactions
- Accuracy: By reviewing your FASTag transactions, you can verify that each deduction matches your toll plaza usage, preventing any overcharge.
- Dispute resolution: Monitoring your transactions allows you to promptly spot and report any erroneous deductions, facilitating faster resolution of disputes.
- Budgeting: Monitoring your toll expenses helps you budget more effectively and manage your travel costs.
- Recharge management: Regular checks ensure that you maintain a sufficient balance in your FASTag account, preventing interruptions during your journeys.
How to check FASTag transactions and download the statement
1. Access your FASTag account through Axis Bank's website or mobile app.
2. Look for a section labelled 'Statements' or 'Transaction History'.
3. Choose the date range for which you want to view your statement.
4. Click on the 'Download' button to save the statement as a PDF or Excel file.

FASTag fees and charges
Getting a FASTag incurs charges and includes issuance fees, a onetime security deposit which is refundable on closure of the wallet, and the corresponding charges on reloading your FASTag wallet. If you lose your FASTag or if it gets damaged, you will have to pay a re-issuance charge for your renewed tag. Additionally, there is a minimum threshold which must be maintained as per the vehicle class.
