- Payment mode PPA (Print Payment Advice) is used by many agencies in PFMS who are not conversant with Digital Signature payment mode.
- To overcome the shortcomings of PPA and smooth transition of agencies doing physical paper based authorization of PPA to digital form of authorization, a new payment mode ‘Electronic Payment Advice (EPA)’ is being introduced in PFMS.
- Under EPA, the agency will be given an option to approve the file on corporate internet banking as well as through branches, as is currently done in PPA.
