account. It is instant and does not have a cap on transaction amount.
- 2. Where will I find the Net Banking option?
The payment option of Net Banking will be available on the payment page along
with UPI, Cards, etc. Choose the Net Banking option and select Axis Bank among
the options to proceed.
- 3. Do I have to register to use Axis Bank Net Banking?
Yes. You should be an Axis Bank account holder with registered Internet Banking
services to pay via Net Banking mode.

- 5.What are the transaction limits for payments via Net Banking?
1. Axis Bank Net banking does not have any cap on transaction amount, making it a
seamless and reliable mode of payment while doing large value transactions. By
default, the transaction limit is set to INR 5,00,000.
You can change this limit to suit your needs via Axis Bank Internet banking.
2. If you make any of the below changes, cooling period of 5 days will be
applicable and daily transaction amount of INR 30,000.
- Change of Mobile Number
- New Onboarding on NetBanking Platform
- Change of password
- Change of Email ID
- Change in Status
- Change in Security Q&A
- 6. How do I change my Net Banking transaction limit?
You can change the transaction limit via Axis Bank Internet Banking.
Please follow these steps:
- Login to Internet Banking :
https://www.axisbank.com/bank-smart/internet-banking
- Go to Services > My Profile > Limit Management
- Click on ‘Set New Limit’
- Enter the new amount limit and click ‘Next’
- Confirm the new limit via the NETSECURE code (you will receive this on you
registered mobile number)
- New limit amount has been set successfully
Please note, if cooling period is applicable for you daily transaction
limit will be reduced. Refer to FAQ No.5 for details.
- 7. How do I know if a merchant accepts payment via Axis Bank for Net
Banking?
If the merchant accepts payment via Axis Bank Net Banking, you’ll find the
Axis Bank option when you choose Net Banking on the payment portal.
- What happens if I have insufficient funds in my account?
If you have insufficient funds in your account, your transaction will be
rejected.
- 9. What should I do if I have not received the SMS OTP?
In rare cases when you don’t receive the OTP on your registered mobile
number, we request you to cancel and retry the payment. If you still don’t
get the OTP after repeated attempts, please call Axis Bank
Phone Banking or visit the nearest Axis Bank branch to make sure the mobile
number is correctly updated.
