All Axis Bank customers having savings account, current account, overdraft, term loan, cash credit, all kinds of agri lending loan and credit card relationship with the bank can download the application on their registered mobile number and get started.
You can change the language from the MENU Option. Click on Select Language and choose from 11 regional languages of your choice.
Yes, you can register for SMS banking through Axis OK. Under the main menu option, select ‘Register for SMS Banking’. Enter your customer ID, last 6 digits of your account number and submit. You will receive a confirmation message. Your mobile number should be registered with the bank to enable the SMS banking service. All Savings Account holders registered for SMS Banking (except NRI) will be charged Rs. 15 (exclusive of taxes) per quarter.

Select the Recharge option, and then select mobile recharge through SMS or recharge by giving a missed call. If recharge through SMS is selected, you need to enter the mobile number, select the operator, enter the amount and the last 6 digit of the account number and submit.

In case of recharge through a missed call, first time user will have to activate the service (one-time activity) by sending SMS ACT < mobile Operator > < last 6 digits of account no. >, e.g. ACT< space >(Name of Mobile Operator) < space > Airtel< space >(last 6 digits of account no.) < space > 456789 < space > Send to 56161600. After activation, you can give a missed call from the registered mobile number, and your mobile number will get recharged.

Yes, you can use this service even if the service provider has changed using number portability. Please enter your new mobile operator and other details and submit once again.
No, you have to provide the last 6 digits of the account number that is linked with the mobile number.

Using mobile recharge through SMS, you can do a minimum recharge of Rs. 10 and a maximum recharge of Rs. 2000 through the application. Three successful recharges can be processed for the same Mobile Number per day. The overall recharge limit (Prepaid Mobile, DTH and Data Card recharge) per account would be Rs. 5000 per day.

By using the mobile recharge through missed call option, you can do a recharge of Rs. 100 by default. Three successful transactions per day/ account are allowed.

This facility is free of cost by Axis Bank. The mobile operator may apply charges.
For Recharge, you do not require internet access. Non-GPRS users can recharge their prepaid mobile using a single service.
While doing a recharge, Axis Bank debits your account immediately. If you have entered an invalid number/postpaid number, the amount will be credited back to your account within four working days.
You have to be careful while entering the mobile number for recharge. In case a wrong mobile number has been recharged by mistake, the amount will not be reimbursed to your account.

This would happen in following scenarios:

  • Recharge denomination not being available
  • The number is a Postpaid number and not a prepaid number
  • Telecom Operator system not available

In case your recharge is unsuccessful, the amount will be credited back to your account in 4 working days.

To recharge DTH using the Axis OK application, select recharge option and further choose DTH recharge. Enter subscriber ID, operator, amount and the last 6 digits of the account number and submit. Your DTH will be recharged.
No, you have to provide the last 6 digits of your Axis Bank account number that is mapped to the mobile number from where the SMS is sent.
Maximum recharge amount is Rs 5000. Please check with the service provider for various recharge options available for DTH. Total three transactions can be processed for the same DTH number per day. The overall SMS recharge limit (Prepaid Mobile, DTH and Data Card recharge) per account would be Rs. 5000 per day.
Axis bank does not charge the customer for the DTH recharge facility. However, charges may be applied by the mobile service provider for the use of SMS.
You have to be careful while entering the Subscriber ID for DTH recharge. In case, a wrong Subscriber ID has been recharged by mistake; the amount will not be reimbursed to your account.

On successful or failed execution of the transaction, Axis bank will send an SMS on your registered mobile number.
